Today I am grateful...
1. For the lady at the volunteer center who helped me get an interview so that I might be able to get involved with some volunteering down here in St. George. It looks like I'll be volunteering at a center where I may be watching children or teaching a class. Either way, I'm really excited and I hope it works out ok, I think it will be fun.
2. For laughter and being hyper. I haven't laughed quite so hard since I have been down here and it was great. Michelle dragged me off the couch and all the way to our room and it was so fun to just laugh so hard. Even if I couldn't breathe for a minute.
3. That I didn't get in a car accident today and that my car is performing the way it is supposed to. It's something that is easy to take for granted, but I am really grateful for that blessing in my life. I've been a little nervous about my car having some sort of problem, but it has been doing really well. And as far as getting into an accident, I just had a small scale close call today- but it was a good reminder to be more alert and careful, and for that I am grateful.
